Retrospect (Previously XBMC Online TV) is a Kodi video add-on which allows you to watch streams of a number of free and publicly available online TV stream sites.

It originally started the streams from which is a Dutch site. The add-on got its initial name from this site: ‘Uitzending gemist’ means ‘missed broadcast’ in Dutch.

Discussion about the add-on can be done in this thread at the Kodi forums or in this thread at (Dutch only). Issues regarding this script can be submitted at our issue tracker at BitBucket.

Retrospect-Framework vs. Retrospect (the Add-on)

In 2009 more people started to use Retrospect for their own channels. That introduced the problem that users from those derived-Retrospect’s came to use with their problems. There were even derived-Retrospect’s that used our update url!

So the Retrospect -Framework was introduced. The framework contains the basics from Retrospect add-on minus the channels and it is meant for others to use in their own streaming add-on. However, the Retrospect-Frameworks is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivative Works 3.0 Unported License. So everybody is allowed to use it for non-commercial use, but not to change any part of it. This solved the problem of issues with derived-Retrospect’s because they now need to use the unchanged Retrospect-Framework.

More information about the licenses can be found here.

If you need a version of Retrospect and you need either Retrospect or, if you are using a derived-Retrospect, you have to download the Retrospect-Framework.

Please sir, can you spare a dollar?

A lot of people are using Retrospect now. On the 20th of januari 2008 we passed the border of 100.000 Retrospect add-on starts. What if all those people would have donated 1ct each time they started Retrospect :D. It wouldn’t make me rich, but heck, why not try to earn a bit on the side with my hobby? So if you are enjoying Retrospect and you can spare a some change (1$ or 1€) just donate it via PayPal!

Visit the World of Tanks Premium Store and donate to "Buzzje" on the EU servers.Don’t like PayPal or do you want to be original? Why not donate some World of Tanks premium stuff? I play quite some World of Tanks and every now and then a month of premium account or a premium tank really makes a different. World of Tanks premium item start around € 1,- and can vary from in-game gold to days of premium account. Make sure to go to the the EU Wargaming store and donate to player “Buzzje”.
